Neither tcsh nor zsh are supported at this time.
As of larsoft v1_01_00, both Mavericks and Mountain Lion are supported.

Download scripts for binary distributions.

Use either pullProductsLAr-v02_00_00 or pullLArSoftOnly-v02_00_00.sh
- If you already have the required external products, then you only need pullLArSoftOnly

pullProductsLAr-v02_00_00

Will pull all packages, including larsoft

USAGE:

Download the script.

chmod +x pullProductsLAr-v02_00_00
./pullProductsLAr-v02_00_00 <product_topdir> <OS> <bundle-spec> <qual_set> <build-spec>
Arguments:

  product_topdir   Top directory for relocatable-UPS products area.
  
  OS               Supported os distributions: slf5, slf6, d12, d13, source
  
  qual_set         Supported qualifier sets: e4

  build-spec       debug, opt or prof.

  bundle-spec      artdev, mu2e, nu, larsoft

For instance:

./pullProductsLAr-v02_00_00 <product_topdir> slf5 larsoft e4  prof

For instance:

./pullProductsLAr-v02_00_00 <product_topdir> source larsoft

pullLArSoftOnly-v02_00_00.sh

Will pull the larsoft_suite.

USAGE:

Download the script.

chmod +x pullLArSoftOnly-v02_00_00.sh
./pullLArSoftOnly-v02_00_00.sh [-v] <product_topdir> <e4> <debug|opt|prof>

For instance:

./pullLArSoftOnly-v02_00_00.sh <product_topdir> e4 prof

We recommend downloading the prebuilt binaries whenever possible.

Source code distributions.

checkPrerequisites-v1_09_03
- Will examine the system for the presence of known OS-level prerequisites (on RedHat derivatives, these will be RPMs) and list any deficiencies with remediation instructions. The script does not require admin privilege to run, but it is likely that any remediation will.
- USAGE:
  - Download the script.
  - ```
  chmod +x checkPrerequisites-v1_09_03
  ./checkPrerequisites
```
pullProductsLAr-v02_00_00
- Will pull and expand source code tarballs preparatory to a build.
- Note that there are no source code tarballs for art or larsoft. Instead, the build script pulls the art source code directly from the repository.
- USAGE:
  - Download the script.
  - ```
  chmod +x pullProductsLAr-v02_00_00
  ./pullProductsLAr-v02_00_00 <product_topdir> source larsoft
```
buildLAr-v02_00_00
- Build all packages from source (as downloaded using the pullProduct script above).
- Will obtain other source (cpp0x, art, etc.) direct from repository.
- USAGE:
  - Download the script.
  - ```
  chmod +x buildLAr-v02_00_00
  ./buildLAr-v02_00_00 [-ft] <product-directory> <debug|prof|opt> larsoft
```
- -t: produce tar files.
- -f: re-build already-built packages.
